Make Sense Of It

Modern slavery statement

Last updated 17 June 2026

This statement is made by Make Sense Of It Ltd ("we", "us", "our") and sets out the steps we take to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. We publish it voluntarily, in support of the aims of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It covers the financial year 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025.

About us

Make Sense Of It Ltd is a small company registered in England and Wales (company number 16107549). We build and deploy production AI software for UK charities and mission-driven organisations. We are a small team made up of our founders and a small number of specialist associates and contractors.

Our supply chains

Our supply chain is short and, we believe, low-risk. We do not manufacture, import or sell physical goods. The suppliers we rely on are mainly UK and EEA-based providers of professional services and software, such as cloud hosting, software tools and professional advisers.

Our commitment

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to making sure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.

Our approach and due diligence

Our steps are proportionate to our size and to the low-risk nature of our work:

  • We choose reputable, established suppliers and expect them to act lawfully and ethically.
  • We expect our suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to hold their own suppliers to the same standard.
  • We pay the people who work with us fairly and on time.
  • Our founders are responsible for these issues and will investigate any concern raised with us.

Risk assessment

Given the nature of our business - a small UK professional services and software company with a short, services-based supply chain - we assess our exposure to modern slavery risk as low. We keep this assessment under review as we grow.

Approval
